Maïc holds a degree in political science. After completing a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science, she obtained a Master's degree in International Relations, specializing in issues of security, peace, and conflict. Her thesis, focused on conflict-related sexual violence, led her to become interested in the work of WWoW and its founder, Céline Bardet.

She joined the WWoW team as an intern in September 2022. After an internship and a field mission in the DRC, she continued her work with the organization, becoming a project manager and then a coordinator within the team.

Today, she oversees the deployment of the BackUp project in Nigeria, supports the WWoW project in Ukraine, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of BackUp in cooperation with WWoW's technical teams (Intech).
